We are a centre of expertise in the Mediterranean region, and an international reference in research on biodiversity, ecosystem functioning, global change and earth observation. In the last years we have consolidated our participation and leadership in projects from EU and other international research programmes.

International networks

The current and future challenges in science involve transversal work and cooperation between scientific research centres, institutions and international organisations. At CREAF we are members of some of the leading global networks in our fields of knowledge.

International collaborations

Our commitment to promoting quality scientific research that is useful to society and has an impact on political decision-making has led us to collaborate with local and international organisations around the world. Thanks to this joint work, we promote benchmark science to address the environmental challenges of 21st century society.
