Alba Martín Hervas
I have a degree in biology from the Universitat de Barcelona (2021) and a master's degree in Terrestrial Ecology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2022). During my degree, my passion for cryptogams began, especially for bryology. I did the TFG at the BC IBB-CSIC herbarium with the brioteca and later I worked there as a documentalist, where I was able to gain experience in the field of bryophytic taxonomy. Thanks to the master's degree I met researcher Marcos Fernández-Martínez with whom I did the TFM, where we studied the isotopic changes of bryophytes in response to nitrogen pollution.
Currently, I work as a research technician in the project "Elemental Stoichiometry to understand Biodiversity-Ecosystem Functioning relationships: ES-BEF" where we study the stoichiometric changes in aquatic bryophytes.
