Carme López Sánchez
I am a biologist specializing in ecology and a master's degree in Terrestrial Ecology and Biodiversity Management, both from the UAB. Currently, I work at CREAF as a laboratory technician in the DNESS project.
After completing a Biology degree at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), I decided to pursue a master’s in Terrestrial Ecology and Biodiversity Management at the same university.
Now, at CREAF, I will be working as a lab technician on the DNESS project with Àngela Ribas and Stefania Mattana. The DNESS project investigates the soil nitrogen metabolic pathways to characterize the main denitrification processes linked to N₂O emissions, one of the main greenhouse gases contributing to global warming.
