PhD from the University of Southampton (2020) with a research analysing long-term vegetation dynamics in the African rangelands.

This work is based on an ensemble of optical and microwave satellite data as well as a dynamic global vegetation model. I further developed this work during a postdoc at the University of Southampton, where I was more interested in how changes and interactions between climatic and non-climatic disturbances affected grassland structure/distribution across Africa.

I joined CREAF as a postdoctoral researcher in June 2022, where I'm working within RESONATE, an H2020 project aimed at assessing and modelling forest ecosystem services resilience across Europe.
