Gerard Rigola
I hold a degree in Environmental Biology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2023) and have completed a Master’s in Biodiversity Conservation at the University of Huelva (2024).
I am very interested in the biology and taxonomy of bees and other pollinators, although I am also drawn to the study of biodiversity in general, as well as the processes that sustain it and its conservation.
At CREAF, I work as a support technician in the pollinator research group, performing taxonomic identification tasks —mainly of bees and syrphids— as well as field sampling and data analysis.
