The domain of my specialization is the influence of organic matter (OM) on soil physical, chemical and biological properties and associate ecosystem services. Specifically, how OM addition to soil modifies soil structural stability, wettability and water retention. Another effects of OM amendments related to rising the soil nutrient levels or soil biological activity are also interesting to me.

Another effects of OM amendments related to rising the soil nutrient levels or soil biological activity are also interesting to me. The present investigation interests are: (i) Determine the environmental mechanisms able to control organic matter persistence in soils and (ii) the effects of different types of biochar on soil aggregate stability, wettability, water retention and CO2 emissions.
