Joan Regí Blanch

I am studying for a PhD in Social Psychology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. I have a degree in Audiovisual Communication and Multimedia from the University of Girona, a master's degree in Scientific Communication from the Pompeu Fabra University and a master's degree in Heritage and Digital Humanities from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. My research profile is very interdisciplinary, as I am fascinated by the relationship that people have with technology, culture and the networks that are woven forming relationships with each other. For this reason I have ended up in the discipline of STS, Science and Technology Studies, which is precisely an interdisciplinary field that examines the creation, development and consequences of science and technology in their historical, cultural and social contexts.

My work at CREAF is in the communication department, in different roles of documentalist and internal communication and management, where an interdisciplinary profile is also needed to understand the lines of work of the different groups and to present them in an appropriate way. I am a restless person, who enjoys the charms of the city during the week, such as the theatre or dramatic cinema, as much as going on a mountain hike or watching local football - the real thing - at weekends.
