Margaux Didion-Gency
Ecophysiologist focused on the impact of climate change on forest ecosystems and tree physiology. With international experience (France, the Netherlands, Switzerland), I now study thermal acclimation in Mediterranean shrublands at CREAF.
My name is Margaux Didion-Gency, and I consider myself an ecophysiologist focused on the impact of climate change on forest ecosystems and tree physiology. I have studied and worked on various international projects in France (INRAE), the Netherlands (WUR), and Switzerland (WSL, ETH, and EPFL). Currently, I have joined CREAF as a postdoctoral researcher, where I explore the patterns and mechanisms of thermal acclimation in Mediterranean shrublands.
I am passionate about outdoor activities, such as horseback riding, hiking, climbing, downhill cycling, wildlife observation, and traveling the world. Any activity is welcome as long as I’m surrounded by nature!
