Martí Navarro Planes
I studied forest engineering in Lleida (UdL) and last year I completed a Master's degree in remote sensing and geographic information systems at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
I'm joining as a support technician for the C-InterMont project ""Impact of climate-enhanced hydrological intermittency on the carbon cycle of high-mountain watersheds."" My current job as a support technician is based on studying the persistence of snow in the Pyrenees. Using remote sensing techniques, we observe the trend of snow in the Pyrenees and how it affects hydrological intermittency. Due to previous jobs and my hobbies, I have always been related to the mountains and snow. Now I have the opportunity to work and study the snowpack and analyze how climate change and drought affect the Pyrenees mountains.
