Les invasions biològiques constitueixen, en l’actualitat, una seriosa amenaça per la conservació dels ecosistemes naturals i la biodiversitat a totes les escales de gestió (Europea, nacional, local).
Despite this, information on invasive species and their impacts is relatively fragmented and scattered in Catalonia, which does not allow the development of comprehensive prevention and management strategies.
For this reason, CREAF wants to promote a line of analysis of the current state and the future risk of invasion of Catalonia by the various groups of organizations. It also aims to evaluate the current degree of response to the problem and propose a series of strategic lines in this regard, the result of the consensus of the various experts in the territory, which can be used to draw up a management plan for biological invasions in our home.
Everything registered in an information system that allows access and dissemination of information to managers and the general public.
