RestPoll

Restoring Pollinator habitats across European agricultural landscapes based on multi-actor participatory approaches

Creaf leader

Participant

RestPoll is a transdisciplinary project aiming to provide society with tools to reverse wild pollinator declines. With the participation of stakeholders ranging from individual land managers to governmental institutions, the project will co-design, evaluate, and refine measures and approaches to restore pollinators and pollination services.

Central to RestPoll is the establishment of a European network of pollinator restoration case-study areas and Living Labs. RestPoll will work at various spatial scales (field, farm, landscape, region) in areas dominated by intensively managed crops or grasslands. The CREAF group will work in the restauration of apple farms with different agricultural management models. The outcomes of the project will be disseminated across Europe.
