Graduate in Biology from UB, with a Master's in Terrestrial Ecology and Biodiversity Management (UAB) and in Geographic Information Technologies (UEX), and a PhD candidate in Terrestrial Ecology at CREAF, in the MountainLab research group.

I hold a degree in Biology (UB, 2016), a Master's in Terrestrial Ecology and Biodiversity Management (UAB, 2021), and a Master's in Geographic Information Technologies: GIS and Remote Sensing (UEX, 2024). I am a PhD student in Terrestrial Ecology at CREAF, supervised by Bernat Claramunt-López, and a member of the MountainLab research group.

I have worked on diverse projects, covering topics such as (a) plant-pollinator interactions (UniBo-CREA), (b) critical evaluation of the Natura 2000 Network (CEAB-CSIC), and (c) natural capital assessment, ecosystem accounting, and sustainability for mountain resorts (NERET project, CREAF-FGC).

In my current research, I assess the natural capital of mountains and their ecosystem services. To do this, I focus on various drivers of global change and biodiversity loss, such as climate change, land cover shifts, and invasive alien species. Methodologically, I use integrative frameworks such as “Planetary Health” and apply public data through GIS, among other tools.

As a final objective, I hope to transfer scientific knowledge to applicable policies and practices to protect, restore, and manage mountain ecosystems more sustainably and to make associated socioecological systems more resilient.
