PhD in Terrestrial Ecology by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, MSc in Geospatial Technologies by the Jaume I University, MSc and BSc in Forestry by the University of British Columbia. Currently postdoctoral researcher at CREAF in the research group Methods and Applications in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GRUMETS).

Participant and co-organizer of the Science and Technology group in H2020 project Cos4Cloud (Co-designing Citizen Observatories Services for the European Open Science Cloud).

Member of the Community of Practice in Interoperability for Citizen Science. Observer of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Citizen Science Domain Working Group as well as SensorThings API Standard Working Group.

Recent research projects focus on testing technical interoperability of data and services for biodiversity and environmental monitoring, and supporting the development and coordination of activities of the EOSC Partnership (EOSC Focus INFRA-2021-EOSC).
