I studied the degree of Biology at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), where also I did the Master in Biodiversity, focusing on Plant Biodiversity.

For a year and a half, I received the research grant Monbukagakusho, to work at the Center for Ecological Research at Kyoto University. Currently, I am doing my PhD, supervised by Dr Francisco Lloret and Dr Enric Batllori, about the regeneration of communities dominated by Pinus halepensis after combinations of fire and drought.
