The Centre for Ecological Research and Forestry Applications (CREAF) located at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, offers a three-year PhD scholarship (FPI programme of the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness: http://www.boe.es/boe/dias/2014/09/08/pdfs/BOE-A-2014-9185.pdf) to work on plant-pollinator interactions.

Project

Spatial heterogeneity in plant-pollinator communities: effects on interaction networks and consequences to pollination function. (Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation, project CGL2013-41856-P).

The general objective of the project is to understand whether within-habitat spatial variability in plant and pollinator communities results in differences in interaction network structure and, ultimately, in changes in ecological function (pollination). The project starts in January 2015 and involves intensive field work.
