SANTBOIRESPIRA

The development of a green and blue powerful infrastructure in urban and peri-urban territories is essential to maintain a good quality of life for its inhabitants and to better face the effects of climate change in these territories. The main objective of this project is to develop the urban green and blue infrastructure of the municipality of Sant Boi de Llobregat (Baix Llobregat, Barcelona), connected to each other and the environment, to increase biodiversity and provide environmental services to its citizens.

The project will contribute to the local mitigation of climate change and to adaptat to its effects, and will also improve the environmental quality and habitability of the public space of the municipality, making it more accessible to all citizens and reducing inequality in the distribution of urban green. The green and blue infrastructure strategy that is developed for the project will be the backbone to achieve this goal, and its development will be coordinated by CREAF.
