Afforestation is a type of land use change project primarily designated for wood production, soil and water conservation, increasing carbon storage and mitigating climate change. This study shows that afforestation changes, moreover, soil pH, that is a key soil variable.

Taking place during the II Mediterranean Forest Innovation and Development Week from May 12^th to 14^th, this event brought together more than 60 representatives, willing to find their match for future collaborations in forestry research, innovation and business activities.
