Carles Sánchez García
My name is Carles Sánchez and I’m Catalan. I’ve been living in Vilassar de Mar for about 7 years, although I spent most of my life in the city of Barcelona. I studied in the field of technology, specifically in information systems, but I soon shifted my focus to management, as improving work environments has always been a passion of mine. A significant part of my early experience was in the field of biomedical research, at IDIBELL, where I was head of the IT department. After training in agile methodologies, project management, and systemic coaching, I moved into consulting more than 10 years ago. Since then, I’ve worked on various projects and with organizations across different sectors.
Coordinating agile and cultural transformations eventually led me to start my own company, a cooperative focused on organizational consulting, where I worked for the past four years until I brought the activity to a close. Here at CREAF, I am joining the Mountain Observatory project, where I hope to help develop the coordination and collaboration mechanisms needed to carry out the Strategic Action Plan and tackle any challenges that may arise. I’m an enthusiast and practitioner of traditional Chinese martial arts, and also a fan of role-playing games, board games, and video games.
