Marta Josa Bordell

Passionate about biodiversity, nature, science and in constant learning. I am an environmental scientist by the Universitat de Barcelona (2017). I also hold a master on Terrestrial Ecology and Biodiversity Management from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2018) and a master on Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra-BMS (2023).

I also hold a master on Terrestrial Ecology and Biodiversity Management from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2018) and a master on Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra-BMS (2023).

I have worked on projects related to ecology and biodiversity, focusing on areas ranging from aquatic macroinvertebrates to the ecology of the brown bear. I am the co-founder of the podcast and social media channels on biodiversity and sustainability called 'L'Ovella Verda' (The Green Sheep), an initiative that aims to bring the science and biodiversity around us closer to the public.

At CREAF I'm involved in the Observatori del Patrimoni Natural i de la Biodiversitat among other projects.

I am a member of the Associació Catalana de Comunicació Científica.
