Adriana Tovar
Graduate in Environmental Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and Master in Terrestrial Ecology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
At the end of my degree (2020), I enjoyed a JAE (CSIC) scholarship for introduction to research at the National Museum of Natural Sciences in Madrid within the Iberian Ponds project (biogeography, global change and aquatic ecosystems).
Currently, I work as a technician in the Ecosystem Modelling Facility at CREAF and I am involved in the BOMFORES project, led by Miquel de Cáceres, which aims to promote process-based models to project forest dynamics and ecosystem services.
My main interest is to contribute to the understanding of the effects of global change and climate change on the functioning of forest ecosystems in order to improve and adapt their management.
