My scientific career has been related with different aspects of biodiversity, plant ecology, landscape ecology and agroecology. My main interests lie in the study of the effects of land uses and landscape structure on biodiversity composition and functionality, as well as on the ecosystem services associated. Currently in the CREAF I work on the ecology of biological invasions and on the study of the role of different land uses and landscape structure on the introduction and establishment of exotic species. I coordinate the EXOCAT database and participate in the associated projects.
