Alba Gimbert Àlvarez
Renaissance scientist and eternal apprentice eager to explore the exciting worlds of communication, education and dissemination of natural heritage. I have a degree in Biology and a master's degree in Cultural and Natural Heritage from the University of Girona, which has given me the opportunity to work with an integral notion of heritage in tune with the growing trend of bringing together its two dimensions, the natural and the cultural.
My contact with outreach began at the Museum of Natural Sciences in Granollers, where I worked for almost three years as a cultural mediator and workshop leader (2018-2020) and where I further reaffirmed my passion for nature and its transfer towards society. I currently work combining the tasks of institutional communication and social networks at CREAF with the coordination of the knowledge platform Prismàtic knowledge platform, dedicated to the management of natural heritage and biodiversity.
