As a student from EARMA’s third European Certificate in Research Management (CRM) cohort, Olga Roig was duly awarded their completion certificate at the EARMA's Conference Awards Ceremony this April. She began their CRM studies in January 2017 and finished in the summer of 2018.

For Olga, the most interesting feature was the European dimension, which brought the opportunity to know through fellow colleagues the research management landscape of other EU countries. The “CRM represented a turning point in my professional career and allowed me to reinvent myself and get motivated in a position with low tradition and poor recognition among the academics in my country” mentioned Olga.

The Certificate in Research Management is designed to improve the ability to support excellence in research across the research life-cycle and with different EU funding schemes. Among others, Olga has learned how to develop and implement policy and strategy, understand the international and European research environment, to managing and supporting the develop of a project portfolio or to implement the gender and diversity in research management.
